Blood cleansing, softening on the skin and glands, mucous, throbbing, nutritious, relaxing, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, fever-reducing and inhibit canser. Red clover is also a phytoestrogen that can act as hormone balancing in menopause.
A blood-cleansing herb.
Red clover has long historical traditions as a blood-cleansing herb that has an effect of thinning the blood, promotes digestion and stimulates detoxification of the body through the function of liver and gallbladder. The herb helps the body to remove toxins because it acts as diuretic, it removes the fluid of the lungs, increases the gall flow and acts as a mild laxative. Rich in iron and vitamin K
Red clover relieves problems when menopause.
Red clover can ease when having feaver during the night in menopause, an effect associated with the content of isoflavones (biochanin A, formononetine and genistein) in the herb. These are estrogen-like substances (phytoestrogens) that help maintain normal estrogen levels through menopause. What is less known is that red clover can also have an anti-estrogenic effect on the body. This is because phytoestrogens have a weaker estrogen effect than estrogens produced by the body, and both bind to estrogen receptors. If the estrogen production in the body is high, phytoestrogens, which appear weaker, may reduce overall estrogenic effect, and this is one of the reasons why red clover is beneficial in breast cancer treatment.
